A great list - there's so much out there that it's really hard to sort out the useful stuff.

The Friendly Web Tools blog has some good tech tips with a focus on religious nonprofits. http://www.talance.com/blog

@Jon Biedermann: Agreed, a lot of nonprofits still don't have their act together on the fundraising issue. I've seen surprisingly large nonprofits (past $10 million in revenue) in New York still using Excel sheets to keep track of donors.

Keep those videos coming though. It was a very personable way to learn more about fundraising.

Thanks Allan for the nod- watch for a reciprocal article too.

You're right about the video... It's our first production and we were more concerned with getting the word out than getting it right. I'll certainly take your advice and look into the mic's.

One thing we found in doing the video is that our research clearly shows that the majority of non profits still aren't taking advantage of what you and I would consider basic technology.

Literally, I love open API's just as much as the next tech person (and we've had them since 2003!), but when the average non profit can't segment their list easily nor send out acknowledgement letters on time, then there are really bigger issues at stake here.

@DIATribe: Sorry, but I was looking for a bit more personality from the blog.

@Melanie Guin MNM: You might want to inject more of a personal feel to the blog as well. Your blog has a press release feel to it still.

tho'
We are not now that strength which in old days
Moved earth and heaven, that which we are, we are;
One equal temper of heroic hearts,
Made weak by time and fate, but strong in will
To strive, to seek, to find, and not to yield.
