You can see OLPCs figuring prominently in this report of a WiFi enabled school bus in rural Colorado. Unfortunately, you can also see that OLPCs are not a necessary part of a WiFi-based education. I’m still a big fan of the OLPC but it’s clear that commercial PC companies are rapidly incorporating certain key OLPC concepts into their own laptops i.e., the ASUS eee PC. I could just as easily see donated eee PCs as well as OLPCs in an educational environment.
