As it is, I'm more concerned with what I have to take away from the sidebar than what I have to add. That said, I'm looking to remove the Meebo widget as it's not being used enough (maybe 1 convo every week now). I don't have enough eyeballs to make it worthwhile. I'm more interested in upping my posting frequency and providing more comprehensive articles. The polls and ratings are all Wordpress plugins. I like the plug-ins more than widgets because WP plug-ins are a lot more customizable and already fit within the WP admin screens.
