		<description>I think Blackbaud &quot;gets it&quot; but they haven&#039;t done the hard work of figuring out how to make their business model work in the context of what they have &quot;gotten&quot;. Frankly, salesforce.com has focused on creating its ecosystem and is finally reaping the benefits of that focus. It&#039;s what happens after you work on it for several years. Blackbaud is a publicly traded company and has a responsibility to its shareholders to have decent quarterly results so for them to change their business model would be very difficult to do midstream. I just hope that they don&#039;t end up completely paralyzed because of their need to maintain quarterly results.</description>

We are really excited about teh potential that it offers, but I have heard many times peopel talking about the &quot;ecosystem&quot; that would spring up around Blackbaud if developers could get the API for cheap or free.</description>
