I have one word for you, ok, two words, but who’s counting…

Chore Wars

It’s a game where you get to do chores for points in a web-based role playing game. I used to be the Dungeon Master (go figure) for this sort of thing and I will endeavor to do so again. If you want to join the intrepid band of nonprofit techies known as the League of Extraordinary Nonprofit Techies, I will try to present you with a list of key nonprofit techie administration tasks that will enhance your standing among your fellow techies, keep your network clean, and yes, yes, improve your nptech karma.

Click on the Chore Wars link should you decide to join…

This is great — an RPG with an RSS feed

UPDATE: Fantastic — Marc Sirkin has already joined and claimed 60 XP for himself!!! Gather ye nerds and come unto me!!!

SON OF UPDATE: Awesome! We’re up to 5 players!

Awww, man. Chore Wars? Gotta say, I was hoping for Kingdom of Loathing. Maybe some NexusWar (although how do you do outreach when your main interaction is killing and being killed? Maybe a healer class . . . hmm).

Hilarious… KoL won’t let me create my own adventures for you. And no, I don’t want nonprofit techies killing each other even in jest. (Boy, would that be nuts to see!) There’s a pretty good set of adventures already. Try em out. One of the things I like is the integration between offline and online worlds. There’s even a Flickr group now to post pics of your various adventures in the Land of the League of Extraordinary Nonprofit Techies. Muwahahaha…
