Is there a Joomla 1.5 / Salesforce Foundation integration available? If so, where can I find it?

I\'m glad you responded David. I think I would really take issue with a CiviCRM vs. salesforce.com comparison wherein CiviCRM actually comes out ahead of salesforce.com. I\'m curious to know if you have any specific examples of CiviCRM vs. salesforce.com.

The integration you mention between Drupal and CiviCRM is amazingly good and it\'s not surprising. I would make Drupal a leaderboard recommendation if it weren\'t for that problem about not being able to find good consultancies to support the solution. As an IT Director though, I have to look at the ecosystem of support and right now, I\'m still on the sidelines cheering on Drupal/CiviCRM but I\'m not really ready to get in the game.

Gotta take offense:
"Joomla!/salesforce.com integration is probably a stronger solution than ANY of the nonprofit CRM/CMS combinations out there"

I would think the Drupal/CiviCRM integration is in far greater use, offers far more functionality, and if far better tested (over the last two years) in production.

This is the CRM/CMS integration to bench mark against: Every time someone emails content out of your CMS, that is recorded in the CRM. If someone joins a web-based affinity group in drupal, that is seamlessly recorded in the CRM. Users can edit any or all of their CRM records directly (using granular permissions) in the CMS system. Any action an authenticated user takes in the CMS can be logged into the CRM.

All this is a one-hop integration at the PHP function level.

Now admittedly, the level of polish in the Drupal/CiviCRM stack has a bit to go. And we are working on that at CivicSpace.
