Quick piece of news: Street level views of Google Maps are now available at maps.google.com. Google Earth’s John Hanke just announced a stunning new feature set that will certainly have people looking at Google Maps all over again. To try out this feature:
1. Search for the Golden Gate Bridge in San Francisco.
2. Click on Street View.
3. Click on the bridge.
4. Play!!! Try zooming in on the San Francisco skyline from the bridge…
It’s simply incredible.
