03.08.07New Poll: What should be the new name for npdigg.org?Courtesy of Linus Gelber So... after careful deliberation (just making sure the domains are available), I have distilled the candidates for the new name. They are: nppligg.org npsocialsearch.org mynptags.org mytags.org kikono.org aardvark.org npanthill.org npstars.org Take your pick! As always, look for the poll on the upper, right-hand side of the screen. The poll will end at 9 AM Monday morning. The winner should be available then. In the event of a tie, we'll ask Dick Cheney to come in and break it.

03.05.07Little DishesWe've got a few short items today. This blog post is in honor of one of me and my wife's favorite little Brooklyn eateries. The first little dish (served over roast quail with a side of Northpoint Oysters caught by an itinerant fisherman in Gulf Waters) Personal Democracy Forum has gotten some heat for its SaaS survey of CRM vendors. Pipe Dreams…As you all know in my last post, I suggested a workflow that would go as follows: nptech tagger tags a URL tagger goes to nptech pligg site in a few minutes, they see their tag show up they add more details on the pligg site Rinse and repeat I figured I would use Yahoo! Pipes for my suggested Pligg RSS feed import but in order to do this we'd have to clean up the current RSS feed. We can ensure this by creating a separate for-Pligg-only Feed using Yahoo! Pipes.
