I'm a past Microsoft developer myself and still have Visual Studio loaded on all my machines so I'm ready willing and able. I don't know yet if I'm willing to do a Blackbaud Linux Frankenstein installation but it would be hillarious if that worked... hehe... Can't wait to see the first Infinity mashups myself!

BB has made no apolgies for stating they are heading towards a Micorsoft platform. Lots of .NET and other cool toys are being rolled into Infinity. One could argue taht as long as you have the proper .NET framework on your Linux machine, it should work???

Infinity does work well with mashups. They are very sexy actually. I've seen a couple demoed. That is a result of the reliance of web-services/XML as a communications standard.

Whoo Hooo, I've never had a scoop before! But seriously, point taken re: "marketing talk" vs "geek speak"..that DOES explain my reaction. Marketing...grrrr.

I am enjoying your coverage of the unfolding of "Infinity".
