I’m a huge fan of the book, Crashing the Gate, so I’m posting this so that people can see their Crashing the Gate‘s authors talk about their book. This was videotaped today by yours truly at Demos.org. I didn’t have enough time to get it up on the web so only the first half is available which is Jerome Armstrong and Markos “Kos” Moulitsas Zuniga talking about the book itself. Kos runs dailykos.com and Jerome Armstrong runs mydd.com.

There’s a follow-up Q&A session afterwards and will be available at a later date. The Q&A session is probably indicative of how people are receiving the book. Let me tell you, I can see why people find cyberspace more interesting than meatspace. The Q&A session is full of progressives droning on and on, apparently unwilling or unable to finish a question that Kos and Jerome can actually answer. However, when they do finish the question and Kos or Jerome answers, we get a few fireworks.

Technically speaking, I used Windows Movie Maker to do this so this video is about as raw as it gets. Unfortunately, WMM picked up only the 1st audio track which is from a microphone mounted on the camera. It’s a decent mic – a Sennheiser ME66 but I would rather have people listen to the second track which is the audio coming straight from the mics you see on the video. Later versions of this video will have better audio.
